Robert “Bobby” David Young, age 69, of Kirk Ave., Stellarton, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax.

Born in Halifax, he is a son of Olive (Power) Miller and the late Robert Miller.

A trucker by occupation, he worked in Alberta for several years until his retirement. He moved back to Stellarton to be with his mother in 2010. Bobbie was a loving son, a wonderful friend, who had a good sense of humour, an avid organist, and became a good baker and cook in recent years.

Besides his mother, he will be missed by sons, Tim Young and Kevin Young (Sienne), Alta; Reuben Andrews, Stellarton; brother Allan Miller (Debbie),Alta.; close friends Ted and Sherri Roy, Stellarton; and his little companion Buddy.

Bobby is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Thursday from 1-1:45 p.m. from where his funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday with Capt. Neil Abbott officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
