At his late residence on Monday, June 9, 2014, of Rae “Myron” Dawson of North Tryon, age 84 years.
Beloved husband of Helen (nee MacKay) Dawson. Loving father of Margo (Trent) MacWilliams, Sherri (Jackie) Myers, Kisten (Kenneth) White, and Barbi Dawson Myers (Gerard). Dear grandfather of Gage and Calvin MacWilliams, Zachery and Hilary White, Dallas, Ashtin, Dustin, Alexis, Summer and Brandon Myers. Also survived by sisters, Vessie Trudelle, Bertie Chappell, Margaret Paton, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Rex and Florence (nee Matheson) Dawson; son, Ray Alan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hazel (Lorne) Sandler, Martha (Don) Schurman, Emile Trudelle, Prowse Chappell and John Paton.
Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visiting hours Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service from the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, Thursday, June 12, at 11 a.m.

Interment to take place in Tryon People’s Cemetery.
