It is with great sadness but with thanksgiving for her long life that we announce the passing of our beloved mother/grandmother, Chloe Marjorie Higdon, of Buchans who passed away at the A.M. Guy Hospital on June 10th 2014 at the age of 93. Marjorie was born to Arthur and Susannah Woodman of New Harbour, Trinity Bay. She was predeceased by her husband Stan, her siblings John, Elwood, Ernest, George, Laura Oxford and Pearl Foote. Left to mourn her passing are daughters Laura (Len Williams) and Mildred; granddaughter Holly Penton (Bernard); grandsons Dion Rideout (Tina) and David Williams (April); great grandchildren Andrew Rideout, Aaron Rideout, Rebecca Penton, Evaleigh Williams and Benjamin Williams; as well as a large number of nieces and nephews. Marjorie was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by all of them. The Funeral Service was held on Friday, June 13th 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the Salvation Army, Buchans. Visitation took place on Wednesday, June 11th from 7-9 P.M. and Thursday, June 12th from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. Donations in Marjorie's memory can be made to the Salvation Army, Buchans.
