Born in 1945 in Sydney, N.S., where she was mostly known as Fran, she moved to the West Coast in 1969, where she was known as Jeri.
She was predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Bernadette Keough of Sydney as well as her sister, Alayne and brother, Ron.
She is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Alan Markwart and daughter and son, Priscilla and Jay Markwart; grandchildren, Taylor and Kayden; brothers Jack and Jerry Pat Keough, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at First Memorial, 4725 Falaise Dr., Victoria, B.C.
