Mary Alice McCready passed away peacefully the morning of May 20, 2014, at the age of 90 years at the Cove Guest Home.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice (Kinslow) Tucker.
She is survived by her son, Arthur (Raylene); four grandchildren, David (Marcelle), Darren, Shauna, Colin and two great-grandchildren Renée and Euan.
Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by husband Stephen and daughter Valerie.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Cove Guest Home and Dr. Archibald, for the great care she received from all of you during her time there. Also a special thanks for the visits/cards from her friends and family on her husband Steve's side of the family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 20 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home 564 Alexandra St. in Sydney with Rev. Laura McCue officiating. Interment in Hardwood Hill Cemetery, Sydney.
