Collins
After a brief illness Royburn (Roy) William Collins of Carmanville, aged 83, passed away peacefully at Brookfield/Bonnews Health Centre. Roy was predeceased by his parents Anslum and Janet Collins. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Audrey (nee Collins), sons Ross (Mary) and Garry, daughter Jean (Barry) LeDrew; grandchildren Philip, Christopher, Janet , Keith, Katharine, Daniel, Paul, Jonathan, and Jarrod; great grandchildren Sophie, Sarah, Jacob, Sean, Allie, Drew, Megan, and Emma, and a large network of family and friends around the province and country. A raconteur, Roy was well known in the area. His jokes, stories, his sense of humor, and his unforgettable personality will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. Rested at Stacey’s Funeral Home in Carmanville. Funeral service was held at Emmanuel United Church in Carmanville on Saturday, June 14 at 2:00 P.M. Interment Carmanville United Cemetery.
