The death of Norma I Mills, 94 years, of Springhill, occurred on Saturday, March 1, 2014 in High Crest Nursing Home, Springhill.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Jeanetta "Nettie" (Blockley) Davis.
Norma was a lifelong member of Wesley United Church, was very active in the church organizations and took part in the choir for many years.
She is survived by a son Robert (Kimberley Fiander) Mills, of St. John's, Newfoundland; nephew Harold Davis, Springhill; cousins Greta Blair and Murray Whitewood of B.C.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles and brother Robert.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 19. 2014 at 2:00 pm in A H Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, with The Reverend Wayne McCarther officiating. Burial to follow in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, NS.
