Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with brain cancer at the age of 44 in the presence of his loving wife and family at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A Miller Center on June 17th, 2014. Predeceased by his father, Gerard Stamp, and grand parents, Jim and Violet Perry, and Jim and Madeline Stamp. Leaving to mourn his wife Marcia, stepdaughter Anne Marie, stepson Steven, his mother Geraldine, brother Keith, and nephew Jared, sister Kayla, and niece Cali, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He will be greatly missed by a large circle of friends including co-workers at Kearl Lake, Alberta. We hope Gerard is running freely with his dog Chevy, who was his companion for many years.
Cremation has taken place, resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Trepassey. Visitation 12-9pm Monday June 23rd, 2014 and 11-12:30pm Tuesday June 24, 2014. Mass of Christian burial will take place at Holy Redeemer Church, Trepassey at 1pm. on Tuesday, June 24th, 2014. Burial to follow in Portugal Cove South cemetery.
