VAUTOUR, RITA - (1926-2014) - ACADIEVILLE, NB - Rita Vautour 87, Acadieville passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Monday, June 16, 2014. Born in Acadieville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Urbain Vautour and late Marthe (Robichaud) Vautour. Rita attended Immaculate Conception Roman Church in Acadieville. For those who knew her, her passing leaves an emptiness. She will be remembered for her generosity towards her parents, her brothers, sisters and her religious beliefs. Rest in peace Rita. She will be sadly missed by her two sisters, Mina Richard (Alphonse) of Acadieville, Jeannette Vautour (Aurèle) of Saint Louis; three brothers, Ovila of Acadieville, Marcel (Andrée) of Grand-Mère, Quebec, Edmond (Annette) of Saint Charles, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by three sisters, Victoire (2014) (late Denis), Priscille, Catherine and four brothers, Joseph, Laurent, Antoine and Gerard, one adopted brother, Emerie Richard.
As per Rita's wishes there will be one hour of visitation beginning at 10:00 am until the time of funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Acadieville. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery following the service. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
