It is with great sadness that the family of the late Karl Maxwell Hinks announce his passing on Saturday, June 21st,2014 at his family residence in his 69th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Doris. Three children Carolyn Moss of Deer Lake, Theodore ( Darlene ) of Victoria, BC, and Carla ( Jerry ) of Deer Lake. five grandchildren, Stephen, Maxwell, Jordan, Bailey and Sophia. One great-grandchild Emily. His siblings Harry Hinks, Sheila ( Woodrow ) Gilley, Caroline ( Jerry ) Smith and Roderick ( Lisa ) Hinks. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Karl was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Marion Hinks, grandchild Dylan and brother Morris. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake Sunday, June 22nd, 2014, from 7-9pm. Monday, June 23rd, 2014, 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, June 24th, 2014, at 10:30 am from the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Boland officiating. By request of Karl cremation to follow.
