The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Monday, June 23, 2014, of Edgar "John" Milligan, O'Leary, aged 69 years. John was born in Brae on October 10, 1944, son of the late Curtis and Lillian (McAllar) Milligan. He is survived by his special friend Linda Yeo, sisters and brothers: Omer (Helen), O'Leary; Betty (Hiram) MacKinnon, Summerside; Greta (Sterling) MacEachen, Martin Grove, ON; Arnold (Judy), O'Leary; Ancil, O'Leary; and Ann (Clifford) Coulson, Summerside. Predeceased by his parents, sisters: Maureen, Theresa, Marjorie and brothers Vaughn and Clinton. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with a private family service on Wednesday. Interment to follow in Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Milo. In memory of John, memorials to the O'Leary Community Health Foundation Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
