It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jane Winnifred Stone, formerly of Glace Bay, at the age of 96 on Monday, June 23, 2014.
Predeceased by husband, Cecil Stone; parents, Dan and Elizabeth McIntosh; brothers, Thomas, John, Joe and Angus; sister, Annie Stewart and brother-in-law, Buddy Bonner.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Jane (Franz) Kernbaum; grandsons, Jim (Sue) McIsaac and Michael Kernbaum; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Justin, and Matthew McIsaac and Mykayla and Shane Kernbaum; brother, Clarence (Toots) McIntosh; sisters, Mary (George) Burrage, Teresa (Jack) Byrne, Colleen Bonner, Amelia (John) Baird and Shirley Pemberton (Steve MacDonald).
The family would like to extend many thanks to Dr. Gallivan, as well as the doctors and staff at Seaview Manor.
Friends may call at Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay, on Friday, June 27, at 10 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11 a.m.
