BABINEAU, CORINNE - Corinne Babineau, 81, of Grand-Barachois, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 23rd, 2014 at Villa Providence in Shediac. Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, she was the youngest daughter of the late Albert and Geneviève (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Corinne “Mémère” was happiest relaxing in her sun porch overlooking the Kouchibouguac River surrounded by her beloved family. She will be sadly missed by her three sons: Ronald (Darlene), Daniel (Derek) and Marc (Sharon), all of Moncton; two daughters: Diane Hawkins (Paul) of Burton, NB, and Angela LeBlanc (Peter) of Grand-Barachois; one brother, Emile LeBlanc (Bertha) of Cap-Pelé; nine grandchildren: Christine, Stéphanie, Mathieu, Jennifer, Justin, Christopher, Alex, Chloe and Jeffrey; three great-grandchildren: Samuel, Alyssa and Jonathan; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond Babineau; three sisters: Celina MacNeil, Elise Goguen and Osithe Babineau; four brothers, Joseph, Willie, Alyre and Leonce.
By request, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10:30 am. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
