May 23, 1931 - June 25, 2014. Passed away at Carbonear Hospital on Thursday, June 25th, Doreen Smith of Norman's Cove, resident of Callingwood Downs, Clarke's Beach, former resident of Shag Rock Manor, Whiteway. Predeceased by her husband Jake. Leaving to mourn her daughters; Edwina (Ed), Verlie (Vic), Dorothy (Don), Helen (Gerard), son; Dion (Paula), 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, sister Edwina (Dave), brother-in-law Reg (Mary), sisters-in-law; Janet and Jenny, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Good Shepherd Anglican Church, Norman's Cove Friday, June 27 at 7 :00 pm until time of funeral. Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, June 29th at 2:00 pm. Inurnment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Norman's Cove. As an expression of Sympathy, Flowers gratefully accepted.
