It is with deep sadness that we the family announce the passing of our dear sister, Tammy Marie White on Friday, June 27, 2014, at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.
Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Herb and Jessie (Milley) White.
She was the joy of our family. She will always be our angel and our baby girl. Tammy was a member of the former St. Michael's Church.
Tammy is survived by her sister Charlene MacEachern and (Jimmy), who provided a loving and caring home for her after the passing of our parents.
She is survived by sisters, Clair MacDonald and Jane (George) MacEachern, Diane, all of New Waterford and brother Glen (Judy) White, Halifax, as well as many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She will be missed by her pets Gizmo and Angel.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother in-law Gordon MacDonald and a special friend Loretta Thorne.
Visitation for Tammy will be held on July 1st from 7-9 p.m. and a funeral mass will be held on July 2 at 10 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Leonard, Mount Carmel Avenue with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Burial will take place in St. Michaels Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Parish hall, Convent Street, New Waterford. All are welcome.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500.
