The death occurred peacefully, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, on June 28, 2014, of Waldron Alvin Dickson of Sturgeon and formerly of Trenton, N.S., age 88.
Loving father of Doug (Patsy) Dickson and Jack (Mary) MacKinnon. Lovingly remembered by grandsons, Daniel and Thomas (Samantha). Survived by sister, Jessie Polley, and special niece, Rahmah Tweedie.
Predeceased by first wife, Lola (MacKinnon) Dickson, and second wife, Cora (King) Dickson; brothers, Archie, Reuben (Ted), Bob; sisters, Vina, Dorothy and Hannah.
Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River, for visitation on Monday, June 30, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service from Sturgeon Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 1, at 2 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to Sturgeon Baptist Church.
