Bayer, Evelyn Sinclair
Age 94, of Halifax, formerly of Head of St. Margaret’s Bay and Bedford, passed away on June 24, 2014, at her home in Halifax. Born in Summerside, P.E.I., Evelyn was a daughter of Harold R. and Grace C. Walsh (Bowness). Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband of 70 years, Frederick J. Bayer; his parents, Howard and Lillian Bayer (Young) and his sister Marie (Harold Faloon); her sister, E. Francis Walsh; their grandson, Christopher J. Wall and their son-in-law, Michael F. Atton. Evelyn is survived by their daughters and son, Sandra (David Wall), Ronald (Marjorie Pemberton), Jennifer, and Jane (Kjell Venås), and by Harold and Donna Pearce (O’Callahan); many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and two nephews. In accordance with Evelyn’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. A family service will take place at a later date in The Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Charities of her choice are the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia and the Salvation Army.
