It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edna “Joan” Hutchings announce her peaceful passing on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the age of 83 years at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: husband Clyde, sons: Reg, Terry (Helen), Arch (Brenda), Darrell (Katherine) and Don (Carol); grandchildren: Dean (Fran), Janet, Christine (Ian), Stephanie (Chris), Meaghan (Sean), Michael (Jennifer), Caitlin, Stacey, Deidre (Gary), DJ, Brittany, Cody, Sarah and great-grandchildren: Susan, David, Rebekah, Elizabeth, Lucy and Shaelee as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents: Archibald and Eliza McLellan; sons: Gary and James; granddaughter Michelle; daughters-in-law Valerie and Judy; brothers: Frederick, Donald and Reginald McLellan; sisters: Madeline Jones, Hazel Meiwald and Sylvia Hickey. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday, 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Clayton Parsons officiating. Cremation and Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Newfoundland Lung Association or a charity of one’s choice.
