A beloved man, Bill O’Reilly, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 1, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 44. Those left behind to mourn his passing and bear the sorrow of his absence include his precious children Rachael and Warner and wife Michelle (Lahey); his father Gerard O’Reilly; his siblings Bob (Lynn), Joe, Donna (Darrell), Kathy and Carolyn (Dave); mother-in-law Carol Lahey (Meade) and brother-in-law Gerry (Sharon); niece Brittney; nephews Conor, Riley and Kieran; grandmother Elizabeth Meade; best friend TJ Power and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Bill was pre deceased by his mother Mary O’Reilly (O’Connell) and father-in-law Gerry Lahey. Bill will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving family man and friend, as someone who was always ready to provide a helping hand or offer support. He was a charismatic man who loved to have fun, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Those of us blessed by Bill’s presence in our lives will carry in our hearts the memory of a man of great integrity, courage and strength with an endless capacity to love. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 4th at 11:00 am from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Reverend Tanya White officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue Thursday during the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
