SHIRLEY BOX
February 22nd, 1934 – July 1st, 2014
It is with deep sadness that the family of Shirley Box announces her sudden passing. We take comfort in knowing she is re-united with Dad and baby daughter. Family was most important to Mom and she loved visits from them all, long or short. Her door was always open. Mom loved to celebrate holidays, birthdays and anniversaries. Her kitchen was the heart of her home and the coffee was always on, and you could find her at the kitchen table looking out the door. Mom loved to watch TV, especially wrestling and enjoyed reading the rag magazines. She was predeceased by her husband, Charlie; baby daughter, Barbara; son-in-law, Brian; parents; and brother and sisters. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her family: Charlotte (Dave) Field; Cathy Herring; Bruce (Shari) and Kim; grandchildren: Allison and Amanda (Kyle), Evan and Amy (Chris Legare); great-grandsons, Brady and Bryce; and her special furry friends, Blaze (aka Blair) and Star. As per Mom’s request, no Funeral Service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Shirley’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.
