CANN, Annie Laura – age 86 of Villa Saint Joseph du Lac, Dayton, Yarmouth Co. passed away July 3, 2014 in the Villa St. Joseph. Born December 24, 1927 in Brenton , NS, she was the daughter of the Late Clyde and Laurena (Hatfield) Cann. She was one of the eldest members of the Brazil Lake Wesleyan Church, she was a member of the Ladies Missionary Society, and she was a former Sunday school teacher. She is survived by a brother Rev. Enos H. Cann of Danesville, New York; nieces Esther Cann, Janice Bullerwell, and Faith Purdy. Nephews David, Richard, and Ralph Cann. She was predeceased by a brother Emory, a sister Ina Churchill, and a niece Joanne Jones. The body rested at Sweenys Funeral Home and Crematorium in Yarmouth. Visitation was Sunday July 6,2014 from 12:30 to funeral time at 2pm from the Brazil Lake Wesleyan Church with Pastor Eric Whitehouse officiating. Burial was in the Hatfield Memorial Cemetery in Kemptville, NS. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Allan Stevens (Wesleyan World Mission) or Brazil Lake Wesleyan Church.
