MOSHER (Murphy), Helen Marie- Age 87, passed away peacefully at the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth, with loving caregivers and family by her side, on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Born in Poplar Grove on September 16, 1926 she was a daughter of the late Aubrey and Mildred (Sanford) Murphy. Helen married Stanley Mosher and lived in Windsor where she started a family, first moving to Dartmouth and then to Westphal. In her retirement years, she moved back to Windsor and spent her final years at the Windsor Elms Village in Falmouth. Helen is survived by daughter, Sylvia O’Connor (Eddie), Kingston; son, David Mosher (Nancy), Lower Sackville; grandson, Ben Mosher (Rachael), Halifax; great-grandchildren, Elisabeth, Emma, Evangeline and Eli; grandson, Matthew Mosher (Kathie), Parry Sound, Ont.; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Megan; step great-grandchildren, Ben and Frannie; sister, Louise, Kentville; brother, Harley, Calgary; sister-in-law, Gwen, Windsor; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by her husband, Stanley; sisters, Annie and Mildred; brothers, Earl, Johnny, Maurice, Gerald, Walter and Winfred. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Windsor Elms Village for their care and compassion during Mom’s last few weeks. The love and tenderness shown by Alyson, Jackie, Beth, Sarah, and Chaplain Deb Mosher and the many others, gave comfort to Mom during her final journey.
