WHITEHEAD, ROBERT - We sadly announce the passing of our Dad, Robert Stanley Whitehead, of New Castle Creek, NB on Saturday, July 5th, 2014 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. He was born in Bolton England on December 7th, 1927, son of the late Frank and Phyllis (Gee) Whitehead. He retired from N. B. E. P. C. and happily collected his pension for more years than he worked to earn it. He is survived by his sons; Steve (Ede) Danny (Ernestine); daughter, Judy (Roy Fasquel); four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Anne Boucher (Lorris); sister-in-law, Hester Hobday; brother-in-law, Raymond Brown; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special little dog, Daisy. Predeceased by his wife Doreen. Special thanks to Dr. Sean Morrisey and Carol Anne, the doctors and nurses on Med 1 and palliative care in Oromocto.
At Dad’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. A private graveside service will he held at a later date. Donations in memory of Robert can be made to St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church which would be appreciated by the family.
