The death occurred suddenly at home in Summerside on Saturday, July 5, 2014, of Eric Gaudet, aged 76 years. He was born in St. Edward on June 9, 1938, the son of the late Edmond S. and Mary (Allain) Gaudet. Dear brother to Catherine (Zie) Allain, Whitehorse; Josie (late Ivan) Albert, Summerside; Mary Anne (John) Harach, Whitehorse; Dorothy (Dally) Thibodeau, St. Edward; Eileen (late Bennie) Bernard, St. Louis; Eva (Dave) Clements, Union Road, Charlottetown and Sheila Gaudet, Summerside. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Edmond and Mary, son Jason Dyment, a niece Debbie and nephews Todd, Ivan Jr. and Terry. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Rd., Palmer Road for visiting hours Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, from 9-10 a.m. Funeral will be held Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Celebrant is Rev. Albin Arsenault. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations to the Immaculate Conception Church Repair Fund or Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
