The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, July 3, 2014, of Wayne Marchbank, of Summerside, aged
73 years. Born in Tyne Valley, he was the son of the late Keir and Lillian (Beaton) Marchbank. Survived by his wife, Nancy (Noye) Marchbank; children, Cindy (Lloyd) Waite, Stephen Marchbank, Patty Perrot, Kathy Marchbank, all of Summerside; Heather Gallant, Bedeque; Michelle “Shelly” Campbell, Alma; Joel Campbell (Melissa MacDonald), Greenwood, N.S.; grandchildren Lindy Waite, Becky Waite, Caitlin Perrot, Nicholas Perrot, MacKenzie Marchbank, Brandon Waite, Nathan Waite, Josie Perrot, Allan Gallant, Ben Marchbank, Kassidy Campbell, Tianna Murphy, Torie Campbell, Montana Campbell, Keaunna Campbell, Darien Campbell, Brody Campbell-Frazier, Luna Campbell, Chase Campbell; one great-granddaughter, Jazmine Perrot; brothers and sisters, Doris (Bob) Farris, Wilmot Valley; Donna (John) Robinson, Summerside; Dale (Goldie) Marchbank, Sherbrooke; Gale (Harry) Rogerson, Summerside; Sherrel Wadman, Indian River; Debra Gallant (Jake Champion), Kensington; Terry (Randy) Oatway, Kensington; and by sister-in-law, Jocelyn Marchbank, Summerside. Predeceased by his first wife, Nancy Ann (MacInnis) Marchbank; grandson, Lucas Campbell; sister, Sandra Reeves; brother, Kerry Marchbank; brothers-in-law, Mike Gallant, Leigh Wadman and Carl Reeves. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit of Prince County Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
