The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on July 7, 2014 of Doris Ellis-Coffin (nee Dixon) of Cornwall, formerly of Fortune Bridge. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Rita Dixon.
Doris is survived by her son, Reagh Elllis (Mona); grandsons, Kyle and Ryley Ellis of Newman's Cove, Newfounland; by siblings, Pauline (George) Cantelo, Beverly (John) O'Keefe, Alan (Joyce), Bernard (Gaylene - predeceased) and Sefton (Sandra); and brother-in-law and friend, Edward Stevenson.
Doris was predeceased by infant daughter, Nancy; husbands, Reagh Ellis and Ross Coffin; and by siblings, Claude (Joyce), Gloria Stevenson, Joan (Peter) Ching and Lois.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment in Bay Fortune United Church Cemetery.
