It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patrick Boland announce his passing at Halfway Point, NL on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at the age of 61 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving partner of 23 years, Deborah Greene; parents Jim and Bride Boland, Benoit’s Cove; children: Dorian, NB, Amanda (Jory), Jessie, both of ON; step-children: Jordan Greene, Halfway Point and Brittany Greene (Nick), Steady Brook; grand-children: Josh and Tanna, both of ON, Emily Anne and Jordan, both of NB; (; sisters: Sharon Boland (Lorne St. Croix), ON, Colleen (Rick) Gallant, Benoit’s Cove, Lorraine (Wes) Rowsell, NB; brothers: Larry (Dianne), ON, Jim (Angela), Frenchman’s Cove, Brian (Cathy), Benoit’s Cove, Darren, Corner Brook, Aaron (Kim), Frenchman’s Cove; brother in law Larry, ON; special cousin John Boland, Benoit’s Cove; nieces and nephews: Angie, Bradley, Bryan, Craig, Scott, Kayla, Aprille, Rhonda, Lynda, Brent, Brett, Chantelle, Jessica, Ross, Dion, Ryan, Brady, Mackenzie, Gavin, Jamie and Jennifer, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Helen and mother & father in law: Dom and Barb Greene. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday and Wednesday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Parish in Benoit’s Cove, with Father Maurice O’Quinn officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made by visiting our website www.country-haven.ca .
