GALLERY, MICHAEL J. - Michael Gallery of Saint John, passed away on Tuesday, July 8th, 2014, at the Saint John Regional Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Saint John on September 11th, 1950 he was the son of the late Bernard L. and Ena M. (Byers) Gallery. Mike was employed with ILA Local 273, had many fond memories growing up in Rockwood Court, he was an avid sports fan, loved traveling, camping and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by Maureen Martin the love of his life for 25 years, his daughter Michelle Stockford and her three children all of Saint John, a step-daughter Lisa Crimmins (Cameron) of Fredericton, step-son Jeff Martin (Carla) of Ontario, a sister Joan Fizzard (Charles) of Saint John, a brother Jim Gallery (Carol) of Saint John. Mike is also survived by four nieces and he was “Grand Pa” to Gabby and Kate Crimmins of Fredericton.
Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, July 10th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of The Assumption Roman Catholic Church on Friday, July 11th at 12:00 noon, followed by a reception at the Assumption Centre. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of NB or the Canadian Cancer Society.
