It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronnie Good on Friday, July 4, 2014, at home.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Harold and Bridget (MacDonald) Good.
He was employed with the Correctional Centre as a guard for many years.
He was an avid hockey fan, watching the Toronto Maple Leafs. Ronnie was a kind, generous charming man. He enjoyed dancing, listening to music and camping at Ben Eoin.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his children, Trena Good (Chris MacDonald), Regina, Saskatchewan, Ronald Gerald Good, Montreal; his precious granddaughter, Taylor Marie Good. He is also survived by his sisters, Agnes (Bingy) Young, Joyce O’Neil (Eddie), both of Sydney, Sherry McMullen, Howie Centre, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald 'Jerry' Good.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 12 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney from 1-2 p.m. with a celebration of life to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
