HODGSON, EDITH BERYL (CAMPBELL) - Dec 17 1924- May 17 2014 - Passed away peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, Ontario. Beloved wife of Anthony (Tony) Hodgson. Dearly loved mother of Paul (Susan Johnston), Wayne (Nancy Dalton), Judi and Jim. Cherished grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of 27 children. Dear sister of Violet (Arnold Hodgson), and brother Gordon (Barbara Houston). Beryl is predeceased by sisters Helen and Lois, brothers David and George, and son Raymond. Beryl was the eldest of 7 children born in Saint John, New Brunswick to Ernest and Myrtle (Noddin) Campbell. She served in the RCAF during WW2 earning the Canadian volunteer service medal. Beryl was known for her good cheer, optimism, sense of humour, baking, preserving and knitting. She touched her family and friends with her love and generosity.
A Funeral Service was held at the Billingsley Funeral Home on Thursday May 22, 2014. Reverend S. Derek Shelly officiated.
