Peacefully at South Shore Villa on Thursday, July 10, 2014, of Gladys Elvina (nee MacDonald) Walsh of Albany, age 90 years. Born in Mt. Tryon on January 16, 1924, to Earl and Annie (nee MacNeil) MacDonald. Survived by her four sons Kingsley (Catherine), Mt. Tryon; Wayne (Susie), Cape Traverse; Roger (Lana), Lawrencetown, NS; Kevin (Deanna), Mt. Tryon; daughter-in-law Pamela Walsh, N. Bedeque; sister Freda Doull, Albany; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, her husband Ralph Walsh, son Glen Lea Walsh, infant sister Luena Adele and her brothers Louis, Carmen, and Stanley MacDonald. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visiting hours Sunday, July 13, 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service from the North Tryon Presbyterian Church, Monday at 10 a.m. If so desired memorial donations may be made to P.E.I. Autism Association. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
