Peacefully at South Shore Villa on Thursday, July 10, 2014, of Gladys Elvina (nee MacDonald) Walsh of Albany, age 90 years.
Born in Mt. Tryon, P.E.I., on January 16, 1924, to Earl and Annie (nee MacNeil) MacDonald.
Survived by her four sons, Kingsley (Catherine), Mt. Tryon; Wayne (Susie), Cape Traverse; Roger (Lana), Lawrencetown, N.S.; Kevin (Deanna), Mt. Tryon; daughter-in-law, Pamela Walsh, N. Bedeque; sister, Freda Doull, Albany; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ralph Walsh; son, Glen Lea Walsh; infant sister, Luena Adele; and her brothers, Louis, Carmen and Stanley MacDonald.
Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visiting hours Sunday, July 13, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service from the North Tryon Presbyterian Church Monday at 10 a.m. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to P.E.I. Autism Assoc. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.
