Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family, William Foster Hann in his 80th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 40 years Carol, daughters Sharon; Vicki (Rocky); Donna (Allen); Mairi, daughters in law Ruby Sharpe and Shelly Hann, son in law Cliff Payne, grandchildren: Marina (Dean); Foster (Natasha); Craig (Margy); Stephen (Katrina); Scottie (Erica), Liam; great grandchildren: Adam, Aiden, Brody, sisters in law: Catherine Hann, Gertie Hann, Penny (Doug) Pollard, brothers in law: Jim (Loretta) Penny , Ken (Renee) Penny, aunt Gertie McLean, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ivor and Alice Hann, first wife Marina, sons Taylor and Toby, daughter Juanita and brothers Varrick and Simon. Foster was a life time member of the Lions Club, A Town Councilor for many years, a bait unit operator and owned and operated his own business in Trout River for over 50 years. Friends may visit the Salvation Army Church in Trout River today 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Tuesday 9- 12 Noon, from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th at 2PM with Major Leighton Patey officiating, interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Trout River. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Salvation Army Church in Trout River, The Western Memorial Regional Hospitals Palliative Care Unit or a charity of one’s choice.
