November 29th, 1939. Passed peacefully away on Saturday, July 12th, 2014 after a long illness in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by parents Daniel and Anne Gosse; brother Austin. Leaving to mourn those who cherished his life his long time spouse Elizabeth Whitty; sons Shawn (Doreen), Ian (Tracy) and Garry (Heather) and their mother Theresa Gosse; grandchildren whom he loved dearly Dakota, Kelsey, Kaelyn, Rowan, Sarah and David; special friends Glen Whitty, Niki Scott and Angela Wall; five sisters Sr. Joan r.s.m., Barbara Gosse (California), Elaine (Bob) Maddow (California), Ann (Dominic) O'Driscoll and Mary Jarvis (Bill Hand); brother Danny (Valda) and sister-in-law Marie Gosse. Upon Bill's request cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Caul's Funeral Home Torbay on Monday July 14th, and Tuesday July 15th, from 12 noon - 5 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Torbay on Wednesday July 16th, 2014 at 10 a.m. with inurnment to follow at the Old R.C. Cemetery, Torbay. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
