It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernard Retieffe announce his passing on July 11, 2014 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL at the age of 61 years. He will be sadly missed by his sisters; Edith (Jack) Antle, Nellie (Summie) Duffenais, Rita Rioux, Mabel (John) Steever, Peggy (Danny) O’Quinn, Marilyn (Jim) Barry: brother; Cliff Retieffe; His girlfriend Patsy Woods; Also missed by poppy’s girl Cheyenne Hinks; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Fred & Margaret Retieffe and brothers Lucas and Robert Retieffe. Visitation will take place from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish on Monday July 14th from 7-9 and Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-9 from where the Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Internment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Three Rock Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations to Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto.
