It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the peaceful passing of Jeremy Burns on Sunday, July 13, 2014, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, after a long illness.
Born in Sydney, he was the son Philip LeMoine and Mary Lou (John MacDonald) all of Sydney.
Jeremy was a kind and forgiving person. His interest included drawing, arts and crafts, scary movies and video games.
Besides his parents, Jeremy is survived by his brother, Greg Burns, grandfather, Monford LeMoine, aunts, Linda, Vera and Ann, uncles, Timmy, Wayne, Kim, Melvin; cousins, Patrick and Kimberley.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Gerald and Marion Burns, Tootsie LeMoine, Bernie and Helen MacDonald, aunts, Leona Robinson, Gerry MacKinnon, Deborah Baron, Doris MacKinnon.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014. at the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place in Stella Maris Cemetery.
The family would like to thanks Dr. Archibald, Dr. D'Intino, Dr. Gosse, Dr. Abenheimer, and all the staff at the CBRH, as well as Chris, Chelsey, Mary, Ruth, Joseph, Nicole, Donna for being there for Jeremy.
