Betty Jean Dockendorff

With great sadness, the family of Betty Jean Dockendorff (Nee Welch) age 92, of Montague, formerly West Bridgewater, Ma., loving wife of the late Harold Dockendorff, occurred on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the Riverview Manor.
Born February 24, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Everett Ellsworth and Edith Frances (Godfrey) Welch. Betty Jean is survived and will always be remembered by her children, Kent (Arlene) Verity, Don (Lynne) Verity, Cathy (James) Zolner, Beth Verity, Nancy (Bryon) Smith; step-children, Albert Simpson, Douglas Simpson, John (Marjorie) Dockendorff, Shirley (Milford) Clory, Preston (Linda) Dockendorff; sister, Lois (Glen) Cookson; cherished grandchildren, Sarah (David) White, Kristen Zolner, David Verity, Waylon Smith, Kyle (Arys) Smith; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Nicholas, Analies, Trevor; step-grandchildren, Sherri, Darren, Arlene, Kevin, Jeff, Melanie; step-great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Maria, Alexis, Regan, Jorja, Katrina, Connor, Ryan, Daniel, Sierra, Riley and Keagan; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 1st husband John Verity, 2nd husband Albert Simpson; brothers and sisters. 


Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Friday, July 18, 2014, from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service to be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 10:00 am. Interment to take place in Acorn Cemetery, Dundas. In lieu of flowers, donations to Montague Rotary Club, Riverview Manor activity fund or charity of choice would be appreciated.
