GAUDET, LUCIE (GALLANT) - (1928 - 2014) - ST. CHARLES, NB - Lucie Gaudet 86, of Villa Providence passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, July 14, 2014. Born in St. Charles, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and late Amanda (Martin) Gallant. Lucie will be sadly missed by her twelve children; Annette St-Thomas (Wayne), Rhéal Gaudet (Anne-Marie), Gérard Gaudet (Rose-Marie), Jeannine Gallant (late Gerry), Alphonce Gaudet (Debbie), Antoine Gaudet (Patsy), Denise Caroll (Harold), Mario Gaudet (Deanna), Murielle Caroll (Vincent), Maurice Gaudet (Odette), Linda Richard (Vincent), Jean-Claude Gaudet, twenty-nine grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. Lucie is also survived by one sister, Rosalie Vautour (late Adelard), one brother, Joseph Gallant and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Alcide Gaudet; two brothers, Zozime and Aubin.
Visitation will be held at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Friday at 10:30 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 12:30 pm, St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
