Leone Banks, residing in Schurman's Point, having been diagnosed with cancer this past January, chose with her husband to be with her two children, in Toronto during this time. The death occurred on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at North York General Hospital, in Toronto, Ontario. Marjorie Leone Banks, aged 72, beloved wife of Otto Banks, born in Milburn on November 27, 1941, daughter of the late Lloyd and Janie (nee Lecky) MacWilliams. Dear mother to Karen (Chris), Bradford, ON., and Greg, Toronto, ON. Survived by her sister Lillian (Herman) MacLean, Dunblane; her in-laws: Alton Silliker, Milburn; Janet and Art Dawson, Summerside; Violet and Lloyd Banks, Kensington; Shirley (Robert) Wagner, Summerside; Freda and Cecil Banks, Summerside; Clara MacKenzie, Betty and Ron Banks, Ontario, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, her sister Irma Silliker, brother-in-law Don MacKenzie and nephew-in-law Stephen Dennis. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours on Saturday, July 19, from 9 a.m. till the time of the service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Reception to follow the service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In memory of Leone, memorials to Samaritan's Purse - Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
