SLATER (Rodgers), Norma Irene
Age 88 of Halifax passed away July 12, 2014 surrounded by her family. Born in
Halifax she was the daughter of the late Jerome & Florence (Travis) Rodgers.
She is survived by daughter Linda, Truro and son Jerry (Charleen), Halifax and
sister Yvonne (Ernie) Melanson, Church Point. Daughter in Law Maria Slater,
Windsor.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends, 10 Grand Children and 23 Great Grandchildren and close family members Dianne, (Peter) Gibbons.
She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth, son Reg, daughter Heather, son in
law Gary, Grandson John.
There will be grave side service in Fairview Lawn Cemetery, Halifax with Rev. Vince Ihasz officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Cancer Society
