The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O'Leary, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, of Camille Joseph Pineau of Duvar, aged 89 years, veteran of World War II, husband of the late Mary (1996) and Thelma (2011). Camille was born in Duvar on January 21, 1925, son of the late Frank and Melina (Arsenault) Pineau. Dear father to Jerry (Darlene) Blanchard, Elmsdale; Alfred (Pat), Howlan; Nelson, Pius, Robert, all of Toronto, ON; Clair (Shirley), Yvonne Doiron, Edmond, Marie, Elmer (June), Alban and Anthony, all of Duvar. Loving stepfather to David (Darlene) Clow, Utah; Karen Clow (Brian Conrad), Summerside; Ronnie (Margaret) Clow, Calgary; Cynthia Poirier, Wellington; Jane (Stewart) Perry, Summerside; Kathleen Gallant, Summerside; James Clow, B.C.; Richard (Ann MacNeil) Clow, Richmond; and Gregory Clow, Summerside. Camille is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 22 stepgrandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous step-great-grandchildren. Camille is also survived by brothers-in-law Pius (Jean) Blanchard, Burlington, ON., and Jerome (Charlotte) Blanchard, Fortune Cove. Predeceased by his parents, first wife Mary, second wife Thelma, son-in-law Wilfred Doiron, daughter Ruth, brothers Sylvere and Adrian, and his sister Louise. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday until 10 a.m. then to St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Comrades of St. Anthony's Royal Canadian Legion, Bloomfield, will hold a service of remembrance for their late comrade on Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. In memory of Camille, memorials to O'Leary Community Health Foundation (Palliative Care) or St. Anthony's Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
