ARNETT, JO-ANNE - 1951 - 2014 - Jo-Anne passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on July 15, 2014 in her home at the age of 63. She was born in Prince Edward Island on February 16, 1951. Jo-Anne is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dan; children, Danny (Kelly) and Kerry (Cory); grandchildren, Hayden and Charlee. She also leaves behind mother, Queenie Deacon; siblings Rodney (Pam), Donna (Ronny), Glenn (Maureen), and Nancy (Kevin) all of P.E.I. Jo-Anne was a Registered Nurse and graduated from the P.E.I. School of Nursing. She will be remembered for her long term dedication to her job as a nurse at the DVA whom she thought of as her second family. A kind, loving spirit, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Jo-Anne enjoyed relaxing at the cottage reading a book, boating, travelling and gardening.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Central Queens Funeral Home in New Glasgow, PEI, from 1 to 3pm. A small reception will follow at the family cottage on Long Point Road in Rusticoville from 4 to 6pm. The memorial service will be held in Fredericton, NB, on Thursday, July 24 from 2 to 5pm at the St. Thomas Conference Centre, 368 Forest Hill Road.
