MOORE, BETTY LOU - It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Betty Lou (Black) Moore of Fredericton, NB on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, age 63, with her family at her side. Born on July 19, 1950 in Holtville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Black (Walter Lyons). Betty is survived by her sisters, Sereta Hinchey (Gary), Nancy Gorman (Gerald) and Sharon Drost (Ken); brothers, Gilbert Black (Peggy), Darrell Lyons (Lesley) and Dale “Willie” Lyons (Petra); several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Steven “Tub” Black.
Although there will be no visitation by request. A Funeral Service will take place at Boiestown United Church on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Murray McFarlane officiating. Interment will take place in Cameron Hill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Chalmers Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit.
