(October 20, 1942 - July 17, 2014) Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, July 17, 2014, Ronald Joseph Hogan in his 71th year. Ronald was a long time employee of the City of St.John`s. Predeceased by his parents William and Alice Hogan; and his brothers William and Douglas. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 51 years, Louise (nee Gollop); His children Rick (Janice), Ron (Tammy), Janet (Paul) and Len (Jackie); grandchildren Michael, Derek, David, Ronnie, Jennifer, Samantha, Janelle and baby Emily; great-grandchildren Sophie, Lyndsey, and Leland. Also left to mourn are his sister Linda Snow (Kevin); special sister-in-law Bernice Parrell; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friend. At Ron`s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday and Monday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from Caul`s Chapel on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made in Ron`s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
