LEGER, MARIE ROSARINE - Marie Rosarine Leger, 84, wife of the late Aime Leger (1991), of Moncton and formerly of Saint-Norbert, NB, lost her battle with cancer on Saturday July 19, 2014 surrounded by her children and grandchildren at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born on October 8, 1929 in Saint-Norbert, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jean Baptiste and Melina (LeBlanc) Boucher. She lived a full life surrounded by all who loved her. Mom’s family will be her lasting legacy of love and we will so sadly miss her and her joy of life. She will always be our Angel in heaven now. She is survived by her children: Ariste (Debbie) of Riverview, Jean Paul, Raymond, Yvette DesRoches, Stella Cameron, Lilianne Kervin (Roger Cormier), Reginald (Debbie), Linda (Doug Killam) all of Moncton and Rosario (Linda) of Beaumont, Alberta; two sisters: Lorraine Daigle of Joliete, QC, and Therese Collette of St. Antoine, NB; one brother, Alcide Boucher of Ste. Marie, NB; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces , nephews and friends. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by one daughter, Irene Saunders (1998); five brothers: Cleophas, Omer, Gerald, Oram and Elie. The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses in the Oncology Unit and on the 4th and 3rd floor of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the service will be celebrated on Tuesday July 22, 2014 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours are Monday July 21, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 9:30 am until time of funeral. A reception will follow at the centre. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
In memory of Rosarine, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Frenette Funeral Home, Moncton (858-1900).
