The death occurred at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I., on Thursday, July 17, 2014, of Doris Belle (McAllister) Bridges, of Alaska, aged 66, wife of the late Henry Bridges. Born in Fredericton, N.B., on Oct. 5, 1947, she is the daughter of Hilda (Campbell) and the late John McAllister. Doris is survived by her sister Brenda (Leonard) Lounsbury, Beaton Road and nieces Krystale and Vanessa. She is also survived by her special friend Philip “Tippy” Milligan. Predeceased by her father and husband. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours on Monday, July 21, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 22, at 10 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in West Devon United Cemetery.
