Linda "Winnie" Nason

NASON, LINDA "WINNIE" - Linda "Winnie" (Phillips) Nason, of Tracy, NB, passed away at White Rapids Manor July 20, 2014 with her family by her side. Winnie, as she was affectionately known, was born in Tracy, NB on February 19, 1926 to the late Lula (Nason) and Ora Phillips. She is the last surviving member of her family. Winnie is survived by her loving husband Glen (69 years), daughter; Dianne (Erice) Bawn of Tracy, son; Wayne (Linda) Nason of Fredericton Junction, two grandchildren; Robin (Doris) Nason, Trina (Shawn) Quinlan, four great-grandchildren; Brandon and Maggie Mae Nason, Mackenzie and Brendan Quinlan, two half-sisters Hazel Strauss, of Cagary, Maxine Boelke, of Winnipeg and her nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Winnie was predeceased by two sisters; Pauline James and Letha Nason, two brothers: Reginald and Leland Phillips and half-brother Norman Phillips. Winnie was a member of the Tracy United Baptist Church, She also enjoyed Curling, Bowling and Bingo. Linda was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker to her family.
By family request, there will be no public visitation. Funeral will be held at Tracy United Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 23, at 11 am with Rev. James Harrison officiating. A reception will follow the committal in the Family Center of the Tracy church. In lieu of flowers, you may express your sympathy by making a donation to the White Rapids Manor Mini Bus, the Building Fund of the Tracy United Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
