Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on June 23, 2014, Miss Minnie May Hancock of Roddickton in her 57th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her friend Andrew Compton; two sons Tyson (Caryn), Goose Bay; Jason (Candace), Devon, Alberta; twin sister Mary Wilcox (Gus Rumbolt); four grandchildren Brett Hancock, James, Arrick and Kiyerria, stepfather John Seymour, Springdale; niece Patti Canning (Barry), Devon, Alberta, as well as a large circle of other family and friends.She was predeceased by her parents Shem and Ethel Hancock. Visitation took place at the Calvary Pentecostal Temple in Roddickton from where the funeral service was held on Thursday, June 26 at 2 p.m. with Pastor G.B. Pinksen officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
