SMITH, KATHLEEN ALICE - Mrs. Kathleen Alice Smith (Stoddard), devoted wife, mother and caregiver. Kaye passed away at her home in Penobsquis at the age of 78 after a lengthy illness. Kaye was born in Head of Jeddore, NS on April 22, 1936. In 1958, Kate graduated from “Children’s Hospital” in Halifax, NS. Kaye will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ron; her children: Ian, Wendy, Denise (Burke), Duane and Darren; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Kaye was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). There will be no visitation or service at this time in respect of Kaye’s wishes.
