MUISE, Martin Gerard – age 81, of Arbours of Tranquility Home for Seniors in Yarmouth. He passed way on July 25, 2014 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Quinan on September 13, 1932, he was a son of the late Simon and Sarah (Doucette) Muise. Martin is survived by his daughters, Beverly and Diane; sister, Freda (George) Robicheau, Lower Sackville; brothers, Delby, Yarmouth and Gerard (Marie Lise), Shediac, NB. Martin worked in Woods Harbour as a school teacher in his younger years. He was a member of the Navy. He also worked for Manpower as a councilor. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. By request there was no visitation. A funeral mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29 at Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Gerald David officiated. An interment was held at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery following the funeral. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
